Meanwhile I finally got around to making my version using the square, as a dress. Love that pattern! Many thanks for the terrific tutes and figuring out how to draft this in the first place. It gives the rst of us a chance to play with this too!rivergumhttp://farm8.staticflickr.com/7159/6484179511_0daab7ff1b_z.jpgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920875739028519515.post-69372826271822802512011-12-08T06:59:57.998-08:002011-12-08T06:59:57.998-08:00Dear Shams--you are such a fashion original! If you want the angles to be more pronounced, like in the square version, you might be able to change the shape of the rectangles to a trapezoid shape so they meet one another at right angles instead of the 60 or so degree angles that you have there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920875739028519515.post-85737757221786995642011-12-05T15:15:39.081-08:002011-12-05T15:15:39.081-08:00This is so cool! I've been meaning to make a square one, but haven't been able to determine which of the many options on my fabric shelves is the ONE for this skirt. And a big thank you for doing all the work--both of figuring out the pattern/math and developing the tutorials--for us to be able to create these ourselves.
