Very cute! And Happy Birthday to you! I was thrilled to note, when my sister's birthday came up on FB the other day, that my age had accidentally gained an extra year along the way. :-)
Hope you have a great day.... maybe some sewing, a visit to FabriX, chat with some other seamstresses.... oh, also some good food! You don't look that age (whatever it is) in your photos or in person.
Happy Birthday Shams! I turned 53 a week ago. The way I remember is that on an even year, I'm an even age and on an odd year (2011) I'm an odd age (53). Laura
Happy birthday, Shams! I read once that her 50s are the happiest years for a woman. May this be true for you -- until you reach 60, that is, when your 60s become happier still!
You happen to share B'day with my hubby as his b'day also falls on the same day! We were on vacation to celebrate our anniversary 8th July and his B'day 9th July, hence belated wishes from me.
Hope you had a great day and have a great year ahead.
I have to stop and count (sometimes on my fingers!) whenever I need to know how old I am! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
ReplyDeleteWell, very happy birthday!! 53 is the perfect age :))

Happy Birthday! I can never remember how old I am either. It keeps changing! So I often end up telling people that I'm the wrong age by a year or 2.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Shams!! Many more happy ones are wished for you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday dearest Shams! Have a wonderful day today and may this next year bring you even more sewing pleasures!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! My stepmom is also celebrating today, and my great gran would have been, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I am 52 or 53 now too and I totally get that you can't remember! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I always have to subtract, and then stop and think: Really??? I'm HOW old?
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!! I always have to tally it up, too and I'm only 34.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY Birthday. Have a fabulous day/year.

May this be the very bestest year of your life shams! (so far, that is....)
ReplyDeleteI have to think (more than twice sometimes) about my age as well - I'm often one year off, & it could be in either direction [shrug]
Happy Birthday! Heather
