Thanks so much for all of your generous feedback on my challenge #3 entry!
The FabricMart vote for this challenge is already up and, WOW, there are some impressive entries this week!
Please go on over, check them out, and vote!
We received our 4th challenge this afternoon. Though, of course, one of us will not be able to enter it into the next round. I am looking forward to this one. I hope I got all of my "dithers" out of my system earlier today so I can get started.
And, because I don't want you to leave here empty handed, enjoy this eye candy that Margy found!
Done. I agree, this group has some serious technical skills, without even discussing the creative talents of these ladies (present company included).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Meredith!! I have been getting a lot out of the challenges, though I am tired!
DeleteI have to say, this is so fun to watch and I love the variety of styles and interpretations we are seeing. I wish we could vote for top 2 (or top 3, or top 4!) Shams, your 2 piece outfit is just fabulous and I love your flowers! Congratulations on such excellent work. You're hitting all the high notes, week after week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robyn! Some of your comments have been hilarious!
DeleteVoted. Go girl
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel!
DeleteNice eye candy! Good luck with the voting.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vicki!
DeleteI'm so impressed with what you created. Both the dress and vest are adorable. And you managed to make the plaid look cool! Good luck. I am enjoying following your blog and your progress in the contest.
ReplyDeleteThanks, PugMom!
DeleteI agree. Very impressive. You hit your own style target dead on every time. Love your ensemble. Your vest takes your classic dress to the next level. As always superb fit, too! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karla!
DeleteDone! It looks to me as though you and Nicole (if I'm remembering her name right) got the wildest and weirdest of the wild card fabrics. You did a great job making the whole thing look Shams-worthy! Looking forward to the next round.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janie! I really like what Nicole did!
DeleteI just looked at all of your construction/detail shots of your fab outfit. So great! I love the fringe and closure details. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jean!
DeleteYou are so creative! I'm really enjoying seeing how you interpret all the challenges. And what fun to receive a parcel of fabric and be told "go forth and create". Just a dream come true :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know if you ever did anything with the brown taffeta, I'm sorry if I missed that post.
Thanks, Carolyn! I can't remember what you mean by the brown taffeta! I am drawing a blank.
Deleteoh no! I sure hope it wasn't lost in the post! :( I sent a piece of silk taffeta to you to thank you for sending me the au bonheur jeans pattern
DeleteOh dear, Carolyn! I don't remember that!!! But my memory isn't what it used to be. Did I thank you for it? Let me look around for it!
DeleteI love everything you have made. So creative. Blows my mind. Good luck with the next challenge.
