A visual summary of Me-Made-March.
I'm still absorbing the results, but I guess I have some early thoughts:
- I have made quite a variety of clothing.
- I am improving at styling. I am trying to get better at accessorizing.
- I am getting better at creating more flattering proportions.
- I need more jackets. :)
- I have more work to do!
I don't know how the style blog do a daily picture and post. It's exhausting!
Feel free to post your thoughts. :)

ReplyDeleteNice collection. I liked the Jackets the most!
ReplyDeleteI also participated in Me-Made-March - Click on the link to view them and it has been a mixed bag, i had planned to make atleast 10 new outfits for me, but ended up making only 5. Something is better than nothing isn't it.
What a great post - I loved seeing all of your outfits at once. You really have some great pieces.
ReplyDeleteI`ve found your blog now, and love your style. I don`t wear pants so I love to see new skirts, and yours are great!!!
ReplyDeleteActually I think the best outfits are the long skirts and the tunic on you, their proportion is the best.
What a spectacular show! And are those really black-and-red Wellies with SPATS???? How did I ever miss those??
ReplyDeleteWhat style! What inspiration! What a wardrobe! And, as ever, I love your verve . . .

ReplyDeleteInspirational, for sure!
Really amazing! You have sewn quite a few remarkable garments. I think you are great at styling your outfits, so I if you still imagine room for improvement, I look forward to more!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. I bet you enjoy your wardrobe.
What a fabulous wardrobe. Everything vibrant and sharp. No floppiness, sloppiness, blobbiness. Everything holds its own and it all comes together so beautifully, to make a totally unique wardrobe that you could never acquire by buying. I love dark rich colors and am very very inspired.
ReplyDeletebtw, I am never sure how to comment with this type of identification - I am happy to give you (privately) my email, but don't have a url to give, so I end up as anonymous. What to do?

Amazing when you put it all together like that - I think all your outfits show a great individual style
ReplyDeleteAs always, envy! Wonderful pieces, I want every one of them. Thank you for showing them to all of us. You seem to really make the great fabric choices for the particular pattern and for you. Inspiration to get sewing some more.
ReplyDeleteYour groupings for March are just outstanding and such a wonderful treat.
ReplyDeleteFor your dotted fabric like Margy's what about taking one of your woven jacket patterns you have previously made and then add some of your outstanding embellishments. Or better still, you might just ponder your fabric till you come up with the right pattern.
Whew, I had no idea you had to spend so much time fitting your patterns. I'll never complain again about fitting problems again. But your final garments turn out so beautifully.
